And boy is she thrilled. I am convinced that part of the reason she hasn't been able to do it before now was because she didn't want to go slow enough to figure out balance, she just wanted to run. Now that she can do it I expect she will be all over the place... and fast. She has always done things a little backwards, and she has yet to learn how to stand up without holding onto anything, so if she falls in the middle of the room she has to crawl over to something she can grab onto to pull up. Or, she sits there and yells until someone comes to help her. Big sisters are great for that!

Its a miracle!
Laurel's first bottom tooth FINALLY popped through last week. And another broke through the gum last week. In true Laurel form, she is going against the norm and is getting them completely out of order as her second tooth is a molar. We can see the white outline in the gums of another five, so I don't expect it to be long before they all come through and she is fully caught up. Poor girl, this could explain the lack of eating and a renewed request for middle of the night bottles (of course, as we are attempting to eliminate the bottle all together). She is in pain!
She wants to do everything Maya does, and that especially includes coloring. A little something that helps keep her content through all of the crabby days.
