I'm a bit late in this post, but here are some pictures from Maya's first birthday party. We held it at a park, and were a bit worried when we woke up that morning to wind and lots of rain. Fortunately, we lucked out and the rain stopped just in time for the party. It was still a bit cold, but I'll take that over wet any day. Maya had a great time playing on the playground with her family and friends. She was a bit overwhelmed when everyone sang Happy Birthday and was not a fan of cake (although thoroughly enjoyed stabbing it with a spoon). Thanks to all for helping us celebrate her first year! And a special thanks to Grandma, Grandpa and Heather for capturing it all on camera.
